Plasmid Biology 2024 was in Hamamatsu, Japan, (2-6 September). It was organised by Hideaki Nojiri and Masaki Shintani. It was a great success but in the days before the conference there were worries because a typhoon was moving across that part of Japan and this affected the travel plans of many participants.
